Notification on "the Last Day of the period" for Status Change of Investor Categories under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law

*Including the cases where it is applicable mutatis mutandis in the Banking Law, etc.
- In the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law (hereinafter referred to as "the Law"), enforced on September 30, 2007, all customers are categorized into "professional investors" and "customers other than professional investors" (hereinafter referred to as "general investors"). Under the Law, the customers may apply for change of status from "professional investors" to "general investors" or from "general investors" to "professional investors" after the completion of certain procedures.
- The Bank has determined "the Last Day of the period" for such status change as the last day of every August each year.
- After "the Last Day", the customers who previously changed their investor status will be re-classified into the original status. Any customers who desire to continue their changed investor status are therefore kindly requested to take the necessary renewal procedures.
