(MHCB) provides settlement and clearing services through all four* of Japan's major clearing systems directly and, via its long legacy of heritage banks, since the beginning of each system. High Quality Cash Operation Services
Approximate 96%* STP(Straight Through Processing) for treasury transactions
Advanced software allows the unqualified payments to be corrected automatically with respect to small differences in punctuations (e.g., periods, apostrophes etc.) in payment instructions. Any such instructions will not be treated as repaired payments but processed as STP payments. High STP ratio may allow for several benefits such as reduced need to send amendments and lower costs.

Accredited Internal Controls
MHCB has carried out and successfully completed SSAE16 certification. This provides your bank information and assurance about the validity of our internal controls placed in operation and tests of operating effectiveness relevant to yen clearing services provided to International clients. When combined with an understanding of the controls, this report would help to assist your auditors in planning the audits of our organization and in assessing control risks.

M-GATE
Online account monitoring system
MHCB offers a proprietary account monitoring system, M-GATE, that allows for monitoring of all transactions for your accounts with us. Additionally, this service is able to monitor transactions for multiple accounts regardless of institution or entity and including "3rd party" accounts with proper permission from the respective account holder.

Additional Support to the Global Settlement Market
MHCB is a core provider of both settlement services and necessary intraday liquidity for Yen-denominated CLS settlements. MHCB has been actively involved in CLS services since the initial planning stages carried out by G-20 (Group of Twenty) and are highly committed to industry initiatives and intend to contribute to the further progress of CLS activities.
